Dog’s psychology

The dogs are domestic animal. He is found all over the world. There are more than one verities of dog- some are small as cat and some are as big as calf.

Dogs are trained for fighting and hunting. Dog fights are popular all over the world. The hunter sets him after the game and watches the scene from a distance. He catches the prey with surprising agility. Men also keep him to guard the sheep and goats. If any beast, such as wolf or jackal happens to come there and tries to steal sheep or goat, he attacks so violently that the beast can’t help slipping away. Most of the poultry farm owner keeps him so that the cat and other beast may not steal any chicken from the poultry farm.
The dog acts upon the very gestures and orders of his master. He recognizes the friends and foes of his master. He keeps awake all night and if the thief breaks into house, he attacks him and makes him run away. When he sees a beggar, a postman or suspicious fellow, he barks at him. But he doesn’t bark or snarl on his master’s friends or family members. Even the slightest sound can wake him up from sound sleep.
Many dogs have saved the lives of their masters; and many dogs have died saving by sitting and defending the dead bodies of their masters, without eating or drinking anything. Dogs have saved men from drowning. In the North Pole, they dig out men buried in the snow. Dogs hunt for themselves and their masters. The flesh of dog is eaten in China.
There are many wonderful stories told about the dog’s bravery, faithfulness and intelligence, and sacrifice. I am going to narrate two stories.
It is said that once a man had a dog. The man was away and his baby was sleeping in the room. As the dog was eddying to and fro, a wolf happened to come there and kill the baby. He attacked the wolf so bravely that the wolf kissed his death. When the master came home and found the dog drenched with blood, he fancied that the dog must have killed his baby. He drew the sword and cut his head off. But when he came to know that the baby is safe and sound and the wolf was lying dead, he cried for his dog in vain.
Another story of the dogs’ loyalty is told as thus: A king’s soldier had a dog. Another soldier was nursing a Grudge against him. And when he was passing through a jungle, he appeared and killed his master. As the dog was far behind, he could not help his master and sat near his dead body of his master. The king finding that one of his soldiers was missing sent his men in every direction. They found a dead body and a dog sitting beside him. They buried the corpse and let the dog free. Once a fair was held in which the murderer of the dog’s master was also present. When dog saw him, he began to bark at him. The people not knowing the case drive him away. He barked and barked at him more ferociously. At last the case was sent to the king. The king enquired the reason for dog’s barking at him, but the man didn’t tell anything. After long investigation the man pleaded guilty and was hanged to death by neck till his death.
We can conclude the discussion by saying that the dog is a very loyal pet and it is extremely beneficial to keep him, provided it come from a good species, and it is not a street dog. Also when the dog suffers from rabies. He has to be killed, of course.
